The community garden, painted in pictures (more losing control)

Across the main road, which the road I live on stems from, is a community garden. It becomes alive during summer. Shovels, vegetables, compost piles, watering cans, flora. This is that place in simple colors, as film interacts with a simple scanner.  This is the garden, void of the people who keep it.

  1. Hi James Brandon, first of all thank you visiting my Blog. And I am so glad to meet with you, with your photography. These photographs are almost different, standing so artistic, I loved them all. How do you get these results, I don’t know about this, but as I said it is amazing. Thank you, with my love, nia

    1. Thanks for taking the time to comment, Nia. The process was more of an accident: I took my color film negatives and scanned them them on an old scanner, just to see what I could get. What turned out after editing wasn’t a conventional looking photograph – it was this strange color spectrum that you see. Thanks again and take care
